The attempted boycott below invites an important point. Trans youth research largely consists of surveys of activists' online networks. The more such research requires activist approval, the *less* validity there can be in the body of evidence they *do* approve of. It would be by discussing and debating the (alleged) short-comings of studies that would let the best research win. But blocking such studies keeps it possible that the research one does see only looks the way it does because it's the only research permitted to exist to be seen. In evidence-based medicine, publication bias is a central aspect for assessing evidence quality (Balshem et al., 2011). jclinepi.com/article/S0895-… Diversity must include diversity of ideas. Otherwise, it remains skin-deep.

Blocking girls' puberty dramatically increases the chance that they will never be able to have children. If they start at Tanner Stage 2 and go on to cross-sex hormones (as 98% do), they will be sterilized. Oncologists are honest that "children and teens cannot give full legal consent because of their age". Those proscribing maturation- blockers for little girls know that those little girls are 1) not old enough to have viable eggs 2) not going to agree to expensive procedures including fertility treatments and invasive surgery to collect eggs. Yet they pretend they've received informed consent. This is CHILD ABUSE.
