@aliceleung I couple my run with a chance for my 9 year old to exercise in the afternoon. I run, he scooters. We have a nice running track set out in amongst the bush close to where we live. I also alternate between running and HIIT with light weights. Susan Ohtake's program is the best!

Did my first early morning 6am run today. I’m seeing how I can fit running into my day when the school year starts again. How do other teachers do it? I don’t want to get up at 4am.

Will we see Dave Warner hit the winning runs on Day 4 in Sydney in his final test? #AUSvPAK #nohatnoplay

How your 30 second elevator introduction that summarises who you are to a new colleague? 🤔🤔🤔Mine is: “I describe myself as being similar to an expensive bottle of wine. You pop the bottle & that first hit is a bit (lot) full on but over time, it mellows & grows on you!”🍷✨

External Validation was exceptionally validating for this incredible team from @PublicWillmot whose on balance self assessments were supported by the stories behind the 'evidence' today. Such power in rich leadership conversations. #MountDruittMagic🎩

Huge congratulations to the #HassallGrovePS external validation team. Today's panel meeting acknowledged the collaborative and focussed approach to school improvement. A great school where plenty of #MountDruittMagic happens every day! @romulus2405

I was sent this on the weekend. Great concept, yet very curios about the criteria. Given the No1 topic, I wonder how this would differ to those schools who are struggling to effectively implement their SIP due to chronic staff shortages.

The education minister came to Concord HS today so @TeachersFed members walked out. The minister needs to listen to teachers and improve pay and working conditions to attract and maintain the teachers we need. #MoreThanThanks

@mkitteringham I wonder if this will be like the air quality I was expected to monitor, where they installed two devices in the classroom and wanted me to take data every 30 minutes for 6 weeks about the number of students, no of windows open etc...the expectation is just unbelievable.

smh.com.au/national/nsw/t… ‘Who’ is managing the huge data tracking of students and staff in order for this to occur? What is not being done in order for this to be successful? This is not about learning. It’s about giving a place for chn to go so their parents can work. High risk.

@mkitteringham @hogesonline Although you'd like to think that the medical professional who you turn to for health advice would know what they're talking about.

So my doctor recommended that the P2(N95) masks provide a far greater level of protection. Apparently after 5 hours you need a new one. Are educators going to be provided with these? health.nsw.gov.au/environment/fa…

@MsKHenness @NSWEducation Yeah...I guess there's doing our best and then trying to do the impossible...nervously awaiting what this will look like.

@MsKHenness @NSWEducation That's if the guidelines allow us to split. Staff shortages were a problem for us last year, with staff off, no casuals and not being able to split due to the cohort model...and that was not with case numbers where they are now...but RAT tests will be available lol

@KylieWoods3 The thing that gets me is that I am allowed to come into contact with 135 unvaccinated students through my line of work (dont get me wrong, I am excited to welcome them back) but I can't (as a fully vaccinated person) come to the regions and see my fully vaccinated mother.

Sorry Sydney, but regions were patient in getting access to vaccines, so you will need to be patient in getting access to the regions who are worried as their vaccination rates haven't hit the targets yet.

@lucysunman She says that addressing the media each day is taking away from her doing her job. I thought communicating to your citizens during the peak of a pandemic would be the most important part of your job.

Very "courageous" decision to stop the 11am pressers just as we're walking into the predicted peak of hospitalisations and deaths. I have no words.

Tradies are allowed back on site. Hang on, I think that is our Principal Mr Goh mowing the grass and looking after the animals while the rest of the MEPS staff are (following NSW Health) staying at home and working from home.
