I am someone whose notifications are dry except quite close ones.
even my birthdays in college had endsems scheduled during them 😹.
this account you see was the effort of giving X a try, and actually met folks from ~ 27 May 2025.
Y’all made it special.

need to think more about this, slack DMs are not secured. during my intern project, we were switching multiple api keys due to token limits and best solution we found was to use whatsapp (since it's e2e encrypted) as claimed in 2025.
Will now use doppler / infisical

how do teams actually share .env variables securely because the options I see are - Slack DM (terrible) - email (worse) - shared Notion doc (somehow even worse) - 1Password or similar - something I'm missing

This is the epitome of evolutionary engineering.
A woodpecker strikes wood up to 20 times per sec. The deceleration force at impact can reach 1,000 times the force of gravity. At that level, a human brain would haemorrhage instantly.
The woodpecker's secret is the hyoid bone apparatus (as in the image).
In most birds, the hyoid is a small, unremarkable bone. In woodpeckers, it is something extraordinary--> it extends from the base of the beak, wraps through the nostrils, encircles the entire cranium, and ends near the eye sockets. It essentially gift-wraps the skull.
This structure acts like a biological seatbelt. On impact, it distributes the force across the entire skull rather than allowing it to travel directly to the brain. The brain is protected not by absorbing the shock but by redirecting it.
New research proposes that the small brain size also helps in preventing concussions.
Woodpeckers also have spongy, porous bone at the base of the beak and the front of the skull that further absorbs the sharp deceleration of each strike -->a secondary layer of protection working alongside the hyoid apparatus.
Engineers have studied woodpecker anatomy to design better helmets, black box recorders, and impact-resistant materials.
Nature solved this problem millions of years before we even understood it.

The way a woodpecker’s tongue wraps around its skull.

Dhurandhar 3 will have a scene showing NEET Paper cancellation as a masterstroke by BJP because Pakistan prepared several agents and trained them to crack NEET 2026 and infiltrate Indian Medical System, by cancelling it last minute, Moti ji foiled their plans.
Sanghis will cheer on it loudly in theatres.
