Tangled (@tangled_org ) is really good if you want to move off of GitHub, or at least try it out. I've not fully switched, but I host a good amount of my repos there.

The future of code collaboration should be federated. Host code on your own servers, and own the associated "metadata" (issues, pulls, artifacts, …)—all with a shared identity. Don't get burned by centralized platforms again!

What we need today is a well glued suite of end to end dev eco system for agents. VCS/Review/workspace, build, test, merge-deploy infra.
So in a sense, a strong GitHub replacement

@sluongng I do think that remote agents are critical to achieve the level of parallelism that you’ll want, so yes. But nothing that exists today is a good enough replacement yet.
