A French consumer group has sued Ubisoft over the shutdown of the 2014 racing game The Crew. They say the company misled players by selling it as a permanent purchase, but then turned off the servers in 2024, making the game unplayable. The lawsuit is supported by the Stop Killing Games campaign.

This guy blocked me when I showed him Marvel Token isn’t a first party PlayStation title. That’s how sensitive these jokers are.

@ImaRealFerret That would be because Nintendo owns a piece of the Pokémon property. Sony doesn’t own the marvel characters or any piece of arc system developer. It isn’t uncommon for Sony to bankroll projects of properties they down own.
