Welp, it looks like the white hoods are off and racist leaders aren’t hiding their feelings any longer. Alabama House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter stated he hopes the Supreme Court overturns the 14th Amendment.
According to reports, Ledbetter stated, "Certainly hope that the supreme court will overturn amendment 14, that gives us a shot to revisit those," referring to the 14th Amendment which deals with citizenship, equal protection, and due process.
Now we all know Black Americans aren’t going anywhere but the emboldened racism is in full effect. 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

Yep, they put it all in Project 2025. I don’t think the people who voted for him and that are now upset, even read it. Smh

I cannot emphasize this enough: everything we are seeing right now with voting rights, and especially the racist gerrymandering we’re seeing in the South, makes complete sense if you remember it was all in Project 2025. This was part of the plan. It’s white supremacy and too many ignored it.

Yet another hole punctured in the mirage that is fair representation in America today.
Week after week, the conservative majority on the U.S. Supreme Court continues to dismantle civil rights, equal representation, and hard fought voting rights that have been around for decades.
And now they are meddling in elections AFTER votes have been cast.
It’s simple: MAGA is silencing millions of people — it needs to be called out.
It’s time we have a serious discussion in this country about court reform — from new ethics guidelines to term limits and more.

Breaking news: US Supreme Court vacates Alabama district court order requiring the state to draw a congressional map with two majority-Black voting districts in 6-3 decision. Alabama can now draw a more Republican friendly map.

Pete Buttigieg: "My second greatest fear for my party is if we win in November that we forget that a return to the prior status quo is not the right answer either. What we need is a series of clean bills, legislative projects that will deliver higher wages, that will deliver universal health insurance coverage, that will deliver things like paid family leave."
