@idunnotheblues Big fan of Apollo family/asklepios stuff here…. This is a very interesting observation, I can def see the connections. This is why I like idv lol, they make little connections like this to classical topics

His design is so clever once you get to know who he’s inspired by and how his experiences could’ve possibly affected his appearance. I’m absolutely horrible with words, but I hope you understand the connection i’m trying to make with his fear, his left side and the parasites😅

It’s interesting how Finsen’s beta designs seems to take inspiration from the Rod of Asclepius’, considering that beta Finny looks like EVIL dentist, which completely contradicts Asclepius’ mythology🤔Maybe that’s why he’s nicer now lol
