@begottensun Also lost someone at Chitungwiza General. The doctor operated her at 8 months because BP was high. Instead of stabilizing the BP first they just operated her. Her and the child both died.

Today is National Doctors Day. It’s not a big deal here in Zim. The title for the day is “Behind the Mask: Caring for Caregivers”. At the end of the day, doctors are humans who at times never get to be taken care or even take care of themselves. At times the job gets you so embroiled in other people’s health that you forget about your own. It’s a reminder that as doctors we need to take care of ourselves and at the same time if you know a doctor, if you can take care of these guys in anyway or even remind them to take care of themselves. Happy National Doctors Day
