Four years ago today, I left my full-time job. The plan was to find a part-time job whilst I tentatively started a freelance journey. Hundreds of unsuccessful applications later, I set myself a deadline and decided to throw myself 100% into freelancing. And here we are today.

Big day today for me: Five years ago, on the 18th of May 2016, I landed at Heathrow airport with nothing but two suitcases. The past five years have been a wild ride with lots of ups & downs and lessons learnt. But most importantly, I've found a place I can call home. ♥️

Whenever I tell someone that I'm from Germany, one of the most asked questions is "So, do you go there often?" Not "What made you move here?" or "How long have you been here for?", no: "Do you go back to Germany a lot?" Such a bizarre question, baffles me every time!
