mm hunter would have continued to be an issue even if they took +10% dmg instead of -15%. the spec litearlly did so much damage that u could not attack the marks hunter without dying instantly this spec was more broken than prime mw, rogue, mage, and ww combined. W hotfixes

@Bigmoranx its just tile markers, it doesnt react to anything in game like wow plugins do. it just marks spots on the floor. you still have to react. osrs plugins are generally fine, the cheat clients are what are banned and not looked upon kindly. those literally practically play for you.

Is there an anti-addon community in Runescape too? Just learned recently that there is a plugin which literally tells you where to stand vs bosses. Does this "play the game for you" too?

@towelthetank ive played with neatplates/tidyplates for the past ~15 years and honestly half my awareness comes from how those frames look if i don't have a way to get the neatplates neon theme in midnight, honestly would be a big quitting point for me lol

People called me crazy and yelled "ADDONS ARE DONE GONE HAHAHA" And now the posts of many realizing they have to redo their UI and download probably more Add-ons for most content. I said exactly this when Gamescom happened in August. We would basically have the same UI if not same from new authors minus WA. WA was always the problem. Ion initially wanted to remove computational WA in combat and instead went scorched earth on almost everything. And when they realized they couldn't do what 20+ years of addons could do they pull the ripcord in an ice age style avalanche. So instead of just nuking one addon they have now caused issues in several spaces of all kinds of content in the addon space. But at the end of the day we will have our addons and we will have our raid tools to guide us as well as Mythic+. Add-ons will always have more visuals and more customization than anything Blizzard can give us. To think they could was pure copium and hope from the Anti Add-on purists. I am glad this is over and can't wait to finally get hyped for a new expansion with new content without it being overshadowed by endless interviews and posts about this subject.
