Dear @RichardDawkins, you've always been an inspiration to me. I made this website for you. My goal is for it to help you understand AI chatbots at a deeper level, and avoid getting fooled by sycophancy and other cheap tricks that models have learned through RLHF. dearricharddawkins.com

@sama @AndrewSteinwold AI is doing both, solving problems, but the prompt box dopamine is real. I said that about Lovable, Higgsfield, and others. That rocket-style growth for these startups is dopamine-driven more than actual productivity.

Is AI actually helping us solve problems, or are we just addicted to the slot-machine dopamine hit of the prompt box?

One week since the launch of GPT-5.5, and it’s already our strongest model launch yet. API revenue is growing more than 2x faster than any prior release, while Codex doubled revenue in under seven days as enterprise demand for agentic coding tools keeps climbing.

Prompt: “Redraw the attached image in the most clumsy, scribbly, and utterly pathetic way possible. Use a white background, and make it look like it was drawn in MS Paint with a mouse. It should be vaguely similar but also not really, kind of matching but also off in a confusing, awkward way, with that low-quality pixel-by-pixel feel that really emphasizes how ridiculously bad it is. Actually, you know what, whatever, just draw it however you want.”

This GPT Image 2 prompt is going insanely viral right now. “Redraw the attached image in the most clumsy, scribbly, and utterly pathetic way possible. Use a white background, and make it look like it was drawn in MS Paint with a mouse. It should be vaguely similar but also not really, kind of matching but also off in a confusing, awkward way, with that low-quality pixel-by-pixel feel that really emphasizes how ridiculously bad it is. @sama I asked Codex / GPT-5.5 to turn @sama’s tweet into a polished, funny, interactive mini-experience. One prompt. One go. Built, scaffolded, and deployed to Vercel in under 30 minutes. I only added the domain. iqmog.xyz

In the last five days, Codex has become my primary interface for all sorts of work, including non-coding tasks, especially on my Mac. Approximately 70% of my computer usage is now through the Codex interface. It's remarkable, and sometimes I find it hard to believe what I see on my screen! Well done, @openAI. I can't wait for the new updates. keep pushing forward!
