I can always tell when a white person headcanons a character as latino vs when a real latino does it because the first one will just say "latino" and the second will smack their own nationality or their friend's

I think the reason most latino headcanons coming from non-latinos give me the ick is because these people see latino either as a race or ethnicity, without understanding that within LATAM each country not only has a different culture from one another, but that each country also--
