The link between the proclaimers and Leith is Hibs. Hibs are likely the reason they're singing about Leith.

@tatt1es @spaolozzi1874 Surely if it were “explicitly” written about Hibs, then it would mention them - at least once? Or perhaps even hint at them, or maybe even subtly nod towards them? As it stands, the only connection which Hibs have to this song is that their fans sing it. 🤷‍♂️

Fantastic post-split fixtures from the SPFL imo, so many interesting stories in there. Top six fixtures are as I predicted on my website in February, with Falkirk getting 20 home matches. Livingston being the team to get only 18 home games makes sense too, even though they are not officially down yet. If Celtic are out of the race I'm looking forward to seeing how the Celtic under-14s get on against Hearts in the final game. The ideal situation is all three teams still have a chance of winning the league on the final day, and it ultimately coming down to goal difference. Helicopter parked in Cumbernauld with the trophy ready to go to Falkirk or Glasgow. Class 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@scotball_ i am not discouraged by that performance, where we had several chances to score and looked fairly tight against a very talented team. Also it was a friendly. The fact that you thought the second half was the worse of the two shows how much attention you were really paying.

Very uninspiring stuff. Japan knocked the ball about well but we shouldn’t have lost that match at home. Looked devoid of ideas in possession, particularly in the second half. I hope to see a much more encouraging performance against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday.

@fitbaw_shirts We scored 6 and conceded 5 in our last two games against Denmark and Greece. We are box office, we are qualifying for tournaments, the players are likable and play for each other. People are absolutely desperate to hate the manager, ruin all this great feeling around the team.

@fitbaw_shirts People have absolutely lost their minds. Japan qualified for every WC since 1998, got to the knockouts of the last 2. They're a top 20 nation, only lost 4 games since the last WC and beat brazil a few weeks ago. Plus we had some decent chances in that game, and it was a FRIENDLY.
