LOOK: As of 7 p.m., attendees at this year’s Pride March and LoveLaban Pride Festival in UP Diliman have reached more than 230,000, based on figures provided by the Quezon Police District. This does not cover those who went to Maginhawa Street and Araneta, Cubao which are satellite venues of the Pride event. The Quezon City LGU expect the number to further go up as the night wears on. | 📷: Quezon City Government/Facebook via Gigi Valderrama, INQUIRER.net READ MORE: inqnews.net/PrideMarch2026 Follow our live updates here: inqnews.net/Pride2026Live

BIGGEST IN SOUTHEAST ASIA 🏳️🌈 Reports state that around 300,000 people went to UP Diliman in Quezon City for the yearly Love Laban Pride Festival, which organizers continuously name as the largest annual Pride event in Southeast Asia, surpassing even Pride events in Thailand where same-sex marriage is legal. Seen in these photos is the vicinity of only one of four stages scattered across the UP campus yesterday; only one stage was featured in previous years' Pride PH festivals. The number does not include attendees at other Pride events by different organizers yesterday in other cities and regions. Among the many calls is the passage of a law legalizing same-sex marriage by LGBT-embracing religious denominations and same-sex civil unions. 📸: Jaia Yap/GMA News, QC Mayor Joy Belmonte/Facebook Read more here: bit.ly/PrideIsAProtes…
