Not sure who needs to hear this but… You don’t need to be at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, live in London, have won awards, be associates at venues or have been awarded funding to be brilliant theatre makers. Making your work and showing it to audiences, that’s success.

Saw #Elsinore by @BSOActing’s Theatre Making students dir by @TBrennanBristol last night. Masterclass and innovation on the term: Make Shakespeare relevant. Playful chaotic energy that was bursting with life and made me think about the Elsinore’ in my mind that shaped me. GO SEE!

Just watched Child of Science by @dunster_matthew @ @BristolOldVic. A story nt about a genius or a martyr, but rather the sticky and complex web of dizzying contingencies that lead human progress. Loved how science was honoured whilst leaving space for the magic of conception!
