Voting can't solve everything. There's not an end-tuberculosis initiative on your ballot, and we can't let our activism end in the voting booth. But it's an important piece of this puzzle, and the many other challenges we face together

This spring, activists will visit capitol hill to advocate for increased tuberculosis spending. TB is a bipartisan issue, but who we have in those offices matters! Your state reps matter too, and your local officials.

Everything is political, including tuberculosis. The choices we make in the voting booth have real impacts not just on our lives, but the lives of people worldwide.

Reading the new WHO Global TB Report, I feel a mixture of emotions. We continue to make progress in the fight against the deadliest infectious disease, and that's thanks to the hard work of governments, NGOs, and people directly affected by TB, but not nearly enough 🧵
