Firstly, rap itself is only half a century old so a lot of its pioneers are still alive. There were not 50 year old rappers in 81 cos the genre hadn't been alive that long. Its been a blessing to watch ppl have a career spanning decades. Tell the younguns to up their pengame

Rap is dying because it’s always been a YOUNG person’s game. But the old men won’t move out the way for the new ones. They’re 40+ still trying to be the face of the culture. Let the YOUTH lead. That’s how rap stayed fresh for decades.

New @PENGSHUIMUSIC album ‘Guts’ is a banger as expected. Couldn’t wait for my vinyl to show up so got streaming…biggest compliment to give is that when it was done it took me a minute to realise that the algorithm had took over and was playing ‘Contact’ (Foreign Beggars/Noisia)
