@zalisteggall Zali. Quite the opposite. What Dutton is offering is a mix of wind, solar, gas and nuclear to enjoy consistency of energy at the lowest price possible. Wind and solar will not provide sufficent energy for households and business. Nuclear part of the mix and the cleanest energy.

The Coalition’s 4 page blurb isn't an energy policy. There's no details, $$, timelines, process for community consultation nor info on energy output. They'll do anything to sabotage renewables transition & keep coal & gas firing - denying climate change threat & delaying action.

@IonaItalia Ah, I'm not really that familiar with the tango scene, so it may be quite different. I'm very biased here, but you might enjoy zouk which is growing in Sydney. It's quite tango-like in its weight shifts, and it seems to attract a very welcoming community.

@tbednall My main dance is tango, where none of these tips work. I think the etiquette is different for other dances. I still have had lovely dances in Sydney, but it is very hit-and-miss on a night-by-night basis.

@IonaItalia Sydney can also be quite clique-ish. I found it was sometimes easier to befriend people at my dance school and ask them to dance rather than strangers.

@IonaItalia Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. I always say "yes", unless I need a break, and in that case my answer is "later".

@IonaItalia The Sydney dance scene was pretty good when I lived there (at the time, I was doing mostly salsa and bachata), but when there's a gender imbalance, you sometimes have to be a bit proactive about asking people to dance if you are in the minority.

@tbednall I'm actually reluctant to go dancing. If I have a great night and get lots of lovely dances, it cheers me up a lot. But if I have a bad night and no one will dance with me, I feel pretty awful and the effect is reversed.
