Konami is focusing less on European football due to licensing issues and high costs. Many top clubs and leagues have exclusive deals with EA Sports, making it difficult for eFootball to secure those licenses.
That’s why Konami is shifting more towards South America and Asia. They have already licensed leagues from Malaysia and Brazil.
In the future, more Asian leagues could be added such as the Bhutan Premier League since they are cheaper and help grow the Asian market
