Traditional Bampton Morris Dancers

Today we say goodbye to our good friend and musician John Wright. Sadly missed.

Sad news filtering through this morning. Alf was a Bourneriver Morris man, but with regular visits to Bampton, he became well liked. Even done a stint with us as Sword/cake bearer. RiP Alf Woodall.

1 week to go until the small town of Bampton becomes Morris Royalty, with their annual day of dance. Dancing throughout the day, then from 6pm all 3 Bampton sides have guest sides to round the evening off with dance and music. Do pop along and say hi.

The very excellent Taeppas Tump Morris dancers at Mr hemmings day of dance in Abingdon. Some of the best choreography and tight sets I've seen in a Morris side for a long time.
