@tbray0313 @TheDegenWeekly No I have never sat in a restaurant after finishing food for an extra 30-60 minutes. That’s weird and you’re being and asshole to other customers and the servers.

If you have a 7:30 reservation at a nice restaurant and the table still isn’t ready at 7:55 is it okay to start getting cranky?

@LovesDogsandUSA @TheDegenWeekly You are of the few. Ive had people sit at tables an hour after paying the tab drinking water more times than I can count.

Yes, I consider that for sure, and if there are obviously people waiting, I leave the table. If there are not people waiting, I still add to the tip in the event my additional time has caused the waiter to lose another tip. The lingering also typically includes additional items, like after-dinner drinks; people aren't just sitting there.

@Creetosis22 I mean. Ups is making an illegal left hand turn. But did have his blinker on with plenty of time. Bike was speeding from the looks of it and didn't give himself enough time to react to a situation around a blind corner. Seems like a 50/50 thing

Bro The UPS truck had signals on from the moment it came into view The road has double yellow lines Undecided?! The retard on the bike is absolutely at fault without fucking question. What, is the UPS driver not supposed to make a turn because some brain damaged individual might try to pass as he's making the turn? Fuck sake, people are stupid.

@Dexerto Yeah thats wild. That is completely out of youtubes control. This could cause youtube to try and ban creators from paid sponsorship ads on the platform to avoid this in the future and lose creators on the platform or something crazy

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against YouTube over its "ad-free" subscription claims Plaintiffs argue YouTube Premium still shows ads because creators include sponsorship segments in their videos

@WallStreetApes Go back and read your loaner agreement before you just sign. It tells you about it all and you agree to its use when you sign. Companies protecting their assets. Make perfect sense to me.

This woman got a rental car from Audi because her car is getting repaired “You ready to see the most dystopian f*cked thing that I've seen in a long time?” The car is equipped with a cameras so massive pointing directly at you, she’s calling it the “Eye of Sauron” and it records everything you do including video, audio and more “How is it legal that a dash cam, voice record everything that you're talking about, private information? I work in medicine and I speak to patients on the phone about private health information every day, and now I can't do that in this car because Audi is recording it and listening and videotaping. And on top of that — if you're speeding, it knows and it tells you’re speeding. If you are not wearing your seatbelt properly, it tells you, seatbelt, seatbelt. It's watching, it's capturing, it's recording. I don't know how this is legal, but I wish I had known about this feature before I agreed to take this loaner car, because I would have 100% paid $700 for a rental car instead of this. I can't tell you how uncomfortable I feel in this car” I found the camera is by Lytx, it’s a company that provides video telematics and fleet safety systems to vehicles It has AI-powered driver monitoring for risky behaviors like speeding, seatbelt issues, distraction, phone use, drowsiness, harsh braking and more Event-based recording plus options for continuous recording or audio Apparently they’re now being put in luxury vehicles for dealers to protect their cars This is insane

A recent FOIA request into the Moreno Valley, California police department's use of Flock cameras uncovered something unexpected. We would expect to see lots of civil rights abuses, Constitutional violations, etc... and those are probably there (data is still being gathered...) but what's also there is a record of Flock billing Riverside County for camera repairs without prior approval of the service work they say has been done as required in their contract. It sure would be a shame if people kept looking into Flock and other companies conducting unconstitutional mass surveillance in America via public records requests. A shame I say... #police #crime #PoliceState #4thAmendment #14thAmendment #CivilRights #ALPR #cops #stalking #women #billing #california #riverside #flock #SurveillanceState
