HK police said the riot police in the photo was not "patting the shoulder" of the white-clad man in Yuen Long in the early morning of 22 July but "pushing" him when the police were "shouting an order" at the white-clad mob, demanding them to leave.

This, along with a lot of footage from Yuen Long, is very difficult to watch, but reveals what’s happening in HK. Sending thugs to attack #antiELAB protesters is part of a bigger strategy to deter people from joining the movement and fighting for their rights.
