We’ve had some really windy days over the last two weeks. Here’s a great example of a punter using the wind to his advantage. Earlier in the session, we were punting directionally to the right with a left-to-right wind. Some of my guys weren’t accounting for the wind, so even when they hit a great ball, they lost a lot of distance by going out of bounds early. Others took lines that felt too drastic, causing them to dump the ball inside on the last step. I challenged @tcg2001 to trust the skinnier line and let the wind do the work. With great alignment, you can be incredibly consistent. Really focus on walking where you want to punt the football and in this case, let the wind do its job too. I expect big things from him this season. The kid is absolutely loaded with talent. He can hit a ball that mini can’t.
