That said, I am starting to have new car thoughts again (@Tesla Model S is leading my wish list!) but still don’t know if I am ready to make that jump yet.

11 1/2 years later, I passed 100,000 miles on my once-new BMW on the way to the airport this morning. It’s been a great car and a lot of fun to drive on both coasts and back in the Midwest. Thanks @BMW for 100,000 great miles!

Uber’s innovation was two-part: an app consumers could use to hail rides + an app where people could earn money without a job interview. The fact that politicians don’t see why it’s problematic to replace it with an app that gives instant full-time employment is just hilarious.

Very insightful. I hadn’t thought of the ‘no-interview employment’ aspect of Uber before and therefore the follow on that pols don’t see the issues with no-interview full-benefit employment...

Disappointed to hear Mad Magazine is ending it’s run of 67 years. I have great memories of Don Martin’s art and humor, the insane machinations of Spy vs Spy, and all the great parody stories over the years.
