The multiple reports of sexual assault and misconduct by women staffers and others about Rep. Swalwell are detailed, disturbing, corroborated by contemporaneous accounts and all too compelling. These allegations are disqualifying in many ways. He should follow the advice of his campaign chairman and California colleagues and end his campaign. My thoughts are with the survivors.

In light of the allegations of sexual assault, Eric Swalwell should resign from Congress and end his campaign for public office. But those decisions do not absolve him of taking responsibility for his misconduct, especially when he has attempted to silence and retaliate against these victims. These allegations merit full investigations, and these women deserve the right to pursue justice. Too often, men escape any consequence for sexual misconduct by stepping out of power. That is a first and necessary step towards justice because it limits the ability for further harm. I stand with these women as they seek justice.

Marylanders should not be asked to subsidize the soaring energy demands of large new data centers. Some thoughts on the Dianna Russini - Mike Vrabel situation. At the very least, with both of them being married to other people, the photos are not a good look. Two major things also come into play here: conflict of interest and journalistic integrity. Russini is a senior NFL reporter for a major outlet. Her job is to gather intel and information from major NFL sources. She’s reported on the AJ Brown situation the most of any insider and the Patriots are the team mentioned the most as an AJ destination, and she’s seen holding hands and hugging Mike Vrabel, who’s had a close relationship with AJ for years and is the head coach of the Patriots. #NFL #Patriots #Eagles
