@laurenancona Probably autistic, and when I started considering it was when I found autistics who have social behavior as a special interest are not necessarily stressed out by it, but DID work at it and tend to have a deeper fascination with it than allistics would. Could still feel auto now.

Anyone got a smart Sci fi movie for me that's not too violent or tense? I've already seen arrival, ex machina, and interstellar but something like them

A vibe of playfulness rather then discipline is probably the most important aspect of making pictures***

@DrMCV It does!! But that was my experience (had a few French students). I think it's sort of the equivalent of letterhead and so they can make sure you actually work there.

@DrMCV My limited experience with French schools is like...some kind of watermark/seal for the institution. When I had to do it we used the district logo. Def double check, but I don't think it's notarize.

The other week my girlfriend and I looked at the Coachella lineup and I didn't know most of the folks on it. Today I saw a Coachella poster on Facebook that I assumed was them announcing more artists I got excited cause it was a great lineup I knew.... It was the 2004 lineup.

@lindevi We went in 2021 and had a great time! Super easy. We stayed in an airbnb in walking distance of the beach (recommend) and one day took the ferry out to the island to the northeast and did a pretty empty beech there (recommend) Also can plug for southern Arizona where I live.

One of my favorite things about teaching is the way it gets me to think about writing differently. Today's thought: Each of the letters in SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Bound) is also a way to think about how magic works in the worlds we build.

@prshakur Is that the one we got to read some pieces of at UTV? I think about it quite often! Hope you finish it!

@Morgan_J_Talty Will also say facilitators better trained to make things safe spaces and moderate real heated discussions. Also certain topics off limits; I never need to hear another 20 year old boy write about rape of a woman because it's dark and edgy, thanks.

@Morgan_J_Talty This is why I did screenwriting and not creative fiction, even though I now do both. Screen tends to teach genre and craft and be more business oriented. Still frustrated how often fiction (and non-fiction) doesn't.
