The Supreme Court should not be “balanced” or seek to give wins to “both sides.” Its job is to correctly interpret the law. If one side keeps advancing interpretations of the law that are incorrect, they should lose more often.

People with “knowledge of how our government works” in leadership positions has exactly been our problem in LA and CA. The result has been blatant incompetence and the loss of billions of our tax dollars.

Michaelson: What do you think Spencer Pratt would be like as mayor? Bass: I can’t even imagine. I understand he has a degree in political science, but he does not have a background or knowledge in how our government works.

Capital gains tax shouldn’t exist. I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk. So why the hell should the government take a cut of my success? They risk nothing. They create nothing. They just take. Parasites. F’en parasites.

In our school district - a parent or kids complains or accuses a teacher or coach of wrongdoing / the district assumes the teacher/coach is guilty. They fired the last two baseball staffs in the last two years. Who the hell wants to coach there anymore
Dr. Tyler Winfield@Velo_doc

If you are a parent trying to run a HS coach off for your kid not playing I got news for ya You are doing your kid a disservice, you are probably a bad person, and in the long run you’ll definitely find that out The stories I’m hearing from multiple HCs across DFW are baffling and some of yall need a reality check for dang sure Raising spoiled brats ain’t it yall

WE NEED TO CLEAN UP AMATEUR BASEBALL. Coaches all over the country, challenging each other. Players yelling and calling other coaches pussies! Constant chirping in dugouts, especially high school. This absolutely has to stop. We don’t need some kind of “nice Coach certification“ or anything like that. The people that are out in front need to stand up for what’s right and bring back civility and responsibility. It’s literally an epidemic. What can we do to fix this?

The Biden Admin used the EPA to funnel billions of dollars to their well-connected friends, allies, and donors, advancing pet projects over meaningful environmental remediation. The Trump EPA has ended the green slush funds, saving roughly $30 BILLION for the American people. We will always ensure this agency remains an exceptional steward of tax dollars under President Trump’s leadership.

Comparing apples to oranges - trump is dressing down a reporter to her/his face and this is totally non presidential. the press's job is to ask tough questions - he just needs to say no comment or next question. the dressing down needs to go along with the childish name calling
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

Jake Tapper and NPR host Ayesha Rascoe are condemning President Trump for calling an MS NOW reporter a "dumb person" and "not a smart person". They say the exchange is an example of one-sided bullying aimed especially at a woman of color, warning that such personal insults from a president can create real threats. Yet, these same hosts and networks offer virtually no pushback when leaders on their side brand President Trump and conservatives as fascists, Nazis, and literal Hitler. Just last month, Tim Walz stood before an international audience in Barcelona and declared that Trump’s policies represent fascism. He called the president a feeble-minded, trigger-happy leader and stated, “We need to call that what it is: that’s fascism.” In early May, Representative Ayanna Pressley told a public town hall that “we are in a fascist state.” Representative Jasmine Crockett has repeatedly labeled Trump “Temu Hitler” and a “wannabe Hitler.” This is not fringe talk. It saturates media coverage, where outlets treat the fascist label as settled analysis rather than inflammatory, dehumanizing rhetoric. The same media figures who lecture Trump stay silent after multiple assassination attempts against him and Charlie's murder in Utah. Pure, unadulterated media hypocrisy.
