Our OT/PTs are reading through “Braided Learning” by Susan D. Dion. We gather every month to share, reflect and seek to understand more about the rich history, culture and perspective of Indigenous Peoples.

Develop self-regulation skills for children by offering them choices! Deep breathing strategies can help your child feel more calm, focused and in control. Make it fun and use their imagination saying "smell a strawberry and blow out a candle!" Checkout our OTPT website for more!

Practice winter dressing skills to build independence! ❄️Try singing a song to reinforce the order: Snow pants, boots, jacket and hat, jacket and hat, jacket and hat, snow pants, boots, jacket and hat. Scarf, and mittens last! (to the tune of head & shoulders, knees & toes). 🎵

It’s back to school after a long holiday break. Prepare your child/ student by reading a social story about going back to school to remind them of the routines and expectations at school. If you would like the full social story, send us a DM!
