Took some time to celebrate defending my thesis and my upcoming wedding with the guys this weekend!

Very happy to say I defended my thesis, after 6 years of graduate school! Looking back, I am grateful for the great program I got to be in, and everyone I met that made graduate school so memorable. Looking forward to the next steps and what the future holds.

One of the best parts of my job is working with students, and it's great to get confirmation that they feel they are benefiting as well!

And if you want more, or can't make it to my poster, my PI @RadleyLab will be chairing and presenting on a panel tomorrow (Wednesday) 4:30-6:30.

@TheMacAran I am on track to defend after 6 years and this is actually about average for my neuroscience program and the other students in my lab. Everyone's path is different and the important thing is what you have gained from that time!

People complain about Zoom being impersonal and then sit in the back of the room for seminars.

@RadleyLab latest publication in PNAS! Work by Shane Johnson provides evidence for a prefrontal projection in rats that has stress buffering effects on endocrine and behavioral coping stress responses. Great work done by all. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…

My thesis research expands on these experiments and I'm excited to share those results in the future. Keep an eye out for my publication for more on this story!
