Very happy to say I defended my thesis, after 6 years of graduate school! Looking back, I am grateful for the great program I got to be in, and everyone I met that made graduate school so memorable. Looking forward to the next steps and what the future holds.

One of the best parts of my job is working with students, and it's great to get confirmation that they feel they are benefiting as well!

@TheMacAran I am on track to defend after 6 years and this is actually about average for my neuroscience program and the other students in my lab. Everyone's path is different and the important thing is what you have gained from that time!

@CAndrewFrank That's awesome! My PR in high school was 25.30. Only managed it once but the fact I still remember says how happy I was. She should be proud!

Pretty confident that Margalit’s medley relay will qualify for state (Iowa City High)!
She had a 25.52 freestyle split. I am going to change my flight for SfN to something later. #ProudPapa

@RadleyLab latest publication in PNAS! Work by Shane Johnson provides evidence for a prefrontal projection in rats that has stress buffering effects on endocrine and behavioral coping stress responses. Great work done by all.

Check out this piece about @RadleyLab's newest pub in PNAS! We examine a prefrontal to midbrain circuit in rats and show it's necessary for active coping behaviors. Activity in this pathway has broad stress-buffering effects!
