I asked Mark Pope about preparing for Iowa State with/without Joshua Jefferson. He gave a great answer. This part made me laugh. "He (TJ) could go get five guys from the rec center, give them a week, and they would be a defensive juggernaut."

@Cylights Yeah, won’t be getting emotionally attached to a coaching staff ever again. I don’t care how good they are. Rogers will leave just like CMC did. If he does well the next 3-4 years and Nebraska comes calling with a butt load of money, he’s gone. We just need to remember that.

Iowa State is making some pretty good hires here imo. These guys can coach. Sure we aren’t familiar with them, but you likely didn’t kiss your spouse until you knew him/her.
