There's so much undue pressure on Moms to deny that we actually enjoy working and our careers, so much pride comes from being able to bring in our own income and provide for our babies. But we are forced to say we feel guilt and sadness for not being able to do it all

2mth well child check today: Mom: I went back to work last month Me: oh gosh how has that been? Mom: girl it's been great, I was BROKE Me: 😅 girl I hear you! & we both laughed bc it was such a real moment that she didn't feel obligated to say she was sad to leave baby to work
