Throughout my transition to live a more plastic-free lifestyle, I have found there are so many little ways that plastic is still finding its way to stay. And it's all the big franchise companies that are keeping them in play but the small businesses are the ones doing the most.

Although this tweet is on a different level to my own thoughts, I agree in terms of Coles and Woolworths still providing single-use plastic bags here and there. And yes there are some reusable plastic bags available, why not cut them out? There are linen and paper bags available

Woaw what an interesting point. In terms of COVID, i think we all turned a blind eye for workers who continue to use the single-use plastics as covid has restricted most reusable items. But i think there is can be a way around it... What are your thoughts? #CCE2021

Garbage bags on Covid positive patients... SO MASKS DO NOT WORK or they would not be using plastic bags... aren't these now considered single use plastics Like using a chain-link fence as protection against mosquitoes.

This is a very good point. Although countries all over the world are doing great things in order to reduce our carbon footprint, COVID-19 has taken a turn for that movement. People are starting to refer back to single use plastics.. #CCE2021 bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

After decades of bitter fights, environmentalists seemed to be winning the war against single-use plastics, until 2020. Covid-19 raised fears that reusable goods might lead to infections, leading Americans to ditch their reusable totes for plastic-bags bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…
