@HeyRyanA @scottmccloud You are absolutely right, it IS hard work (but well worth it). I do own most of Lynda Barry's books, and I've taught my students terminology and analysis thanks to Scott McCloud. Thank you for your thoughtful recommendations! Is there anything you can tell us, too?

@HeyRyanA My students and I just read "This Was Our Pact" and we loved it. We are creating our own graphic novel stories, and we were hoping to get advice from you about how to build a visual story. What are decisions you make as a visual storyteller? What is your process like?

My students made these during a short #ChooseLove activity in Februrary. Many more are staying home to keep others safe, to keep themselves safe, or both. Some are contuing to work to keep the world safe. Whatever your role might be in all of this, your efforts take courage.
