Today, as we wrap up or interdisciplinary unit on the Iditarod, our 3rd grade after school students had an AMAZING opportunity to be Iditarod "experts" and answer some questions from peers in Bogota, Colombia! They did an awesome job! @iditarod @RidgewoodES @HilliardSchools

Musher bibs are signed and up for auction. These bibs are worn by each musher from the race start to the Skwentna checkpoint. Then are returned to Iditarod HQ and be ready for the winning bidder! Auction ends March 19 Bid at IditarodAuction.com

Students loved using the Iditarod Insider to track their mushers. They were asking ALL DAY to check out the GPS to see where their musher was and who they passed. We also used it to identify the mushers on the live feed from the checkpoints! @RidgewoodES @HilliardSchools

Getting to zoom with our pen pals in Mrs. Smith's class in Takotna, AK today was such fun! Discovering how different our 2 communities and schools are was incredible. Their entire school had 6 students and the students got to help during the Iditarod last year! @HilliardSchools
