Today I asked my class of reception children: “what costume should I wear for the Nativity show?” On an unrelated note, does anyone have a chicken nugget costume?🤦🏽‍♀️ 🤣

Sunday scaries before going back to work tomorrow. First week of Autumn 2, with two nights of parents evenings. Yikes 😳

World Mental Health Day 💛 Look after yourselves. I’ll be taking it a little more seriously this year, it’s not just other people’s mental health that matters. We all need to do a little better at caring for our own mental well-being too.

Okay I like my job and everything, but I really just want to finish my book…. and I’m not even a big reader! Was a struggle to get up this morning and leave it behind 😩

@Misslteaches20 Honestly! Counting down until I can go to bed and carry on reading 🤣 Not sure I’ve ever been like this with a book before!

@teachwith_missT i find this is one of my favourite feelings though! it means the book is sooo good and the joy you feel when you get back home and can actually read 😅😂

Sorting out bits of the classroom today. Absolutely massive spider crawling in the dressing up box, so what did I do? Put the lid back on and pretended not to see… that’s someone else’s problem now… 🕷️

Beautiful time in Kefalonia, one day to go… ☀️ Only two minor injuries seems like a success story… right?

Third year in reception for 24/25 🙌🏼 feel like I finally have some grasp on what I’m doing, and ready to make every effort to better myself and my teaching for my new little lovelies ✨

Sunday scaries out in full force. Although I have felt relatively in control and calm all day, the little and frequent palpitations in my chest tell me I’m actually quite the opposite. Time for bed I think 💭

Trust Geography deep dive first thing tomorrow morning, two nights of parents evening, as well as the general chaos of the working week. Can’t wait to do absolutely nothing next weekend 😴😴😴

Had the BEST time at @MammaMiaMusical with my mum. @stevie_doc_ and @TobiasTurley were fab, even better the we could have hoped after watching them on the TV! Love our theatre trips, always 🤍🤍
