After rotating through various modules, our rookies have chosen their committees for the year! Programming, Mechanical, Business, and Electronics are all excited to welcome their new members and begin specialized training in prep for Build Season. #bowsnbots #team1967

Our rookies finished their chassis with the programming committee. In these meetings, the students expanded their knowledge of coding, object-oriented programming, and various data types. They’ll be rotating over to the final leg of the committee modules - Business! #bowsnbots

The Janksters and Caroline were super happy to compete in SVR, especially as the second pick of the Fourth Seeded Alliance with Teams 5507 and 1351!! We also won the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award and Safety All-Star! #bowsnbots #robotics #FIRST

The Janksters hosted Notre Dame’s LEAD Workshops for 7th graders to give future students hands-on STEM experience by working on a scissor lift project and driving a past robot. They also visited each committee to see what goes into running a FRC team. #NDlove #omgrobots

At the San Francisco Regional, our robot Caroline ranked 19th and was the first pick of the 8th Seed Alliance. The Janksters also won the Team Sustainability Award! Thank you to everyone who made this competition possible; next up, the Silicon Valley Regional! #FIRST #bowsnbots

It’s the end of Week 4 and the Janksters are elated to launch into our 5th week! Mechanical worked on our JankyBot, Electronics laser cut the baseplate, Programming tested auto code for engaging on the Charge Station, and Business finalized merch. #bowsnbots #frc #robotics

Last week we hosted our 10th annual Boot Camp for interested students. Campers participated in hands-on workshops, such as Tool Use and CAD, and challenges to get a feel of the team’s structure and necessary skills. We are so excited to welcome the new members soon!#girlsinstem
