Team bonding while spreading an important message-Act F.A.S.T when stroke strikes! Exercise is important to reduce stroke risk and aid recovery, parkrun encourages being active at any pace and also socialising and volunteering- the ideal partnership for our message

Ahead of #WorldStrokeDay where the theme is the power of exercise in stroke prevention and recovery the team from OLOL and LCH attended the 1st of 3 parkruns in the catchment area of the hospital group raising awareness of the signs of stroke and the importance of acting F.A.S.T

With today being World Mental Health Day we would like to acknowledge the huge impact stroke can have on an individuals mental health. Recognising and dealing with mental health concerns is a vital component of post stroke care. #worldmentalhealthday
