he primary objective of this engagement was to finalize a collaborative framework aimed at the comprehensive equipping and modernization of the KSB Art Centre to bridge the gap between artistic talent and technical resources for the visually impaired community and the youth.

This morning, we hosted Ms. Kalpa Kapasi Padia, President of the Rotary Club of Nairobi and Mr. Vincent Rapando, the Youth Empowerment Program Coordinator for the Chandaria Foundation.

For seven decades, we have stood as a pillar of hope and inclusion. As we celebrate our 70th Anniversary, our staff, led by Executive Director Mr. Samson Waweru reflects on a legacy that began in 1956 and has since transformed lives across Kenya. #KSBAt70 #RideForSight

This video captures powerful testimonies from beneficiaries of the Free Cataract Surgical Camp in Laikipia County. These stories are a reminder of why access to eye care is critical and the real impact of coming together with our partners to eliminate avoidable blindness.

Today marked the conclusion of our Free Cataract Surgical Camp in Laikipia County. Over the past week, we conducted over 150 cataract surgeries at Nyahururu County Referral Hospital and Rumuruti Sub-County Hospital; restoring sight and transforming lives across the region.

Today, we conducted eye screening and cataract surgeries at Rumuruti Sub-County Hospital, reaching community members in need of essential eye care services and making strides toward eliminating avoidable blindness.

Next, the team will move to Rumuruti Sub-County Hospital (16th–17th April 2026) for continued screening and cataract surgeries, extending these essential services to more members of the community.

We have completed post-operative reviews for patients who underwent surgery yesterday at Nyahururu County Referral Hospital, with many already experiencing improved vision. Surgeries continue today as we reach more patients in need of sight-restoring procedures.
