Most organizations don’t fail because they lack effort. They fail because they mistake stability for success.
In this piece, our Executive Director, Michael Sullivan, lays out what he calls the “inflection point," a mandatory crossroads in any mission-driven organization.
It's the moment where your standing at the edge of a cliff. Your programs can either become and stagnant and decline or you invest in a second wave of renewal toward deeper growth.

Jeff joined Team RWB and got right to work. 💪
He’s already logged more than 140 miles during Team RWB’s GWOT 100 challenge and is 25 pounds down toward his goal of losing 50 this year.
But for Jeff, this journey started with a hard truth:
“I was not happy when I looked at myself in the mirror. I was heavier than I had ever been and I was flat out not healthy.”
After 22 years in the Army, knee pain, setbacks after surgery, and depression made it harder to keep moving.
“I had been dealing with depression for most of last year… I decided it was time to do a check-in again. So I did.”
Now he’s rebuilding momentum one challenge at a time, using Team RWB as the structure to chase what’s next: bigger goals, bigger milestones, and proof that progress stacks when you keep showing up.

This morning, our Executive Director Michael Sullivan met with Walter Piatt, CEO of @wwp, at their headquarters to talk about the future of Veteran health and well-being.
Wounded Warrior Project has been a huge part of Team RWB's journey over the years, and conversations like this one are how we keep building on that together.
No single organization can solve the challenges Veterans face, but when organizations with shared values collaborate, the impact multiplies. We're proud to be in this work together.

BATTLE BUDDY
noun
A fellow Eagle who stands beside you in fitness, life, and community. A battle buddy keeps you accountable, encourages you to keep moving, and makes sure no one faces the mission alone.
Example: “Grab a battle buddy and tackle a @Spartan race.”
Did you know Team RWB members get free access to Spartan races across the country? You must sign up for Team RWB first to access this benefit.

Saturday at the Yuengling Draft Haus in Tampa was one for the books!
@yuenglingbeer hosted a special event in support of Team RWB, continuing a partnership that began in 2017 and has resulted in more than $423,000 invested in Veteran health and wellness. Their Stars and Stripes cans, now on shelves all year in honor of America’s 250th birthday, are a visible reminder of that commitment.
Local Eagles had the chance to meet Aaron Nola and raise a Stars and Stripes can together as he stepped behind the bar in support of our mission. Through his Big-League Impact giving, including donations tied to team wins and strikeouts, Aaron has helped generate more than $430,000 for Team RWB.
We're grateful to stand alongside Yuengling and Aaron as we continue enriching the lives of Veterans, together.

Vietnam Veterans carried the weight of a long and difficult war. More than 58,000 Americans lost their lives, and many who returned home never received the recognition they deserved. There were no parades. No celebrations. For too many, their service was met with silence or even criticism.
This Vietnam Veterans Day, we’re honoring their courage and sacrifice.
Take on the Vietnam Battle Drill and break a sweat in honor of those who served. It’s our way of giving Vietnam veterans the homecoming they deserved.

Today, leaders from Team RWB are in Louisville, Kentucky for the @WeFaceTheFight Annual Coalition Convening.
Michael Sullivan, Executive Director, Margaret Britten, Senior Director of Advancement, and Ben Powers, Director of Eagle Alliance, are joining organizations from across the country committed to addressing Veteran mental health and suicide prevention.
At Team RWB, we believe that connection, movement, and community play a critical role in supporting Veteran well-being. Operating left of clinical, our mission is to build the daily habits and relationships that help Veterans lead healthier, more connected lives.
We’re grateful to be part of this coalition and to contribute to conversations focused on strengthening the systems of support surrounding those who have served.
More to come as the discussions continue.

On 22 FEB, Team RWB members hit the ground running at the Navy 10 Miler.
From the start line to the finish, Eagles showed up with the same energy and purpose they bring to everything they do - moving together, supporting one another, and representing what this community is all about.
We were proud to partner with the race this year and be part of an event that brings people together through movement and connection.
Looking forward to watching the Navy 10 Miler grow in the years ahead and continuing to show up alongside it.
