Onboarding is one of the highest-leverage surfaces in SaaS. According to @teamuserpilot Product Metrics Benchmark Report, the average B2B SaaS activation rate is ~37.5%. That means most users never fully reach the core value of the product. Even worse: 75% of users churn within the first week. The best onboarding flows: - reduce time-to-value - remove unnecessary friction - guide users toward one clear successful outcome Most churn happens before users even understand why they should stay. Good onboarding is not a walkthrough, rather a conversion infrastructure.
