@marklewismd I am on lifelong Chemotherapy Gembrax due to Pancreatic cancer Mets, which after my left distal pancreaotomy. Splenectomy in January 2019, followed by6 months adjuvant chemo,nodules popped up in my peritoneum June 2020..everything thankfully stayed stable

2 years ago Jess was told she had terminal cancer. It was the most earth shattering moment. There was no treatment and she only had 3 weeks. My precious girl;so brave and dignified. She deserved so much more. #grief #cancer #earlydiagnosis #childloss

@4myJessBrady I’m so sorry you have had to live through the death of your beautiful daughter. I lost my daughter 2 years ago to cancer and like Jess, Amy deserved so much more. Cancer is so, so cruel and relentless. My thoughts are with you 💔🌻🌻

@LibbyMbc @Kenmay1Magoo Please get checked for pneumonia. I thought asthma three years ago. It was double silent pneumonia. Wheezing but no cough . I nearly died. I understand the cancer Mets are bad enough. I have secondary pancreatic cancer. Lifelong chemotherapy. You are in my Prayers🙏

My throat / lungs are making a noise I really don't like. I wish this cold would clear off so I could go back to dying from JUST metastatic breast cancer

@LibbyMbc I picked up an infection? 6 weeks ago I was so ill. Could not eat, pain, C. Unit can't find out what it was/is.keeps recurring.I empathise

@MattStage4 So I won't take daily High dose steroids anymore. Last night used cbd ointment a friend in Essex makes first time slept pain free.

@MattStage4 Hi Matt I'm suffering badly stomach cramps , & constipation . You mentioned shoulder pain , I've had bad shoulder pain for months ... it's polymyalgia rhuematica I had it 2015/16. Steroids long term prescribed but caused osteoporosis & pelvic and spinal fractures

@LibbyMbc Always in my prayers that cures will be found no matter how long we have been in stage 4 . It's so hard and we try so much at times to make jokes about how long we have to live . I can have days where I feel I don't have cancer( I'm not in denial) but I feel so well

I said no but once they took the fluid out I knew that it was. I could feel my lung expanding to fill the pleural space (it hurt). How can I look at a bottle of fluid like this and think I have any longevity? Cried all the way home

I try to trick myself into thinking there could be a cure, or a treatment that works for a long time. But days like this slap me in the face. I had a thorancentesis and I've mace more than double the fluid since the last one. They asked me if the fluid was affecting me

@spiderwalshy Such a relief that everything is good for you and Rachel Shaun. It's so hard not to worry but when you've been there like we have ...it's impossible not to worry and think, Oh No, not again ...,,,,so I can imagine your relief that all is well for Rachel. Take it easy xxx

@shabbarankine What would we do without the NHS and the incredible workers in all of the specialities ? Those people who continually slag off The NHS because their treatment may have been delayed because of an emergency; they need to ask themselves do they want to be like America for

… I like many of my friends love our jobs … but it’s hard graft to keep going at times … anyway … rant over … live it like you love it folk #protecttheNHS

Tell you what people can slag the NHS off all you want but folk work so damn hard for others and all for not that amazing pay and personal gain at times. My Mrs has done a 48 hour on call the weekend,went in Monday on day off to get relevant training numbers she needs prior to.

Susie died yesterday after being diagnosed with a brain tumour three years ago. She lived with her illness with courage and good humour. She was much loved and will be much missed

Latest update is that the clinical trial has stopped working and the one of the growths on my liver is growing. I am now going on Doxcetaxol chemo for the second time. Not the best news but need to shrink the liver growths before another trial. 🤔
