@LeeAbdul779668 It is a little bit of an alarm for concerns… tho, I think if the IRCC has any brains at all they will have something planned ahead of time to continue…. The backlogs have no time or space to grow. I’m hoping they set something ahead and at least do something. We will see,

I feel as though I am in an alternate universe. First @ESDC outreach blew my mind. Now I've got @CitImmCanada reaching out. This is a trend that I am so incredibly grateful for and want to send those visa officers who make this extra effort. It is huge!

@TashinurR @CitImmCanada In cases where they are expired or expiring soon they would probably be the candidates getting closer to 18 months. People with father dates I would assume wouldn’t receive the full 18 months. But I’m sure we will know for sure on April 6th or closer. Stay tuned.

@TashinurR @CitImmCanada That I am aware, it wouldn’t stack up an additional 18 months. That’s why they wrote ‘up to 18 months’ from what I understand they will give you the additional NECESSARY extension. Which in your case I’m not sure you would need one. We will know more closer to April 6th.

Starting April 6 2023, international graduates with a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) expiring in 2023 will qualify for an extended work permit to stay in Canada for up to 18 months longer: canada.ca/en/immigration…

@teatalker_ @SeanFraserMP I have been waiting for my portal for 6 months, and my work permit is going to expire in july while all my friends got their portal in 2 months after their biometric.

@FayezAhmed2 @SeanFraserMP Yea there are really long wait times. Hopefully this all gets resolved soon. I hope you stay tuned for April 6th so that you can AGAIN extend your work permit.
