@drcrystalheath @CrumblCookies Some orgs use corporate pressure with the goal of increasing welfare in the meantime. These orgs (such as THL) recognize the goal is to stop animal ag completely, but they look at the movement holistically: We need both diet change AND corporate change.

I'll stop here, but in conclusion: If you want to learn about matcha or other teas, go to a tea expert. Tea really does have a lot of benefits, but also a lot of nuance, and a lot of generalist writers get it wrong. Share these posts to help the world get it right! (12/12)

Finally, this line betrays the shallow reporting: "Traditional Japanese green tea grows under bamboo mats, protecting the leaves from direct sunlight." The vast majority of JP teas are not shaded. Matcha and gyokuro are shaded, but it doesn't have to be bamboo mats. (11/12)

@GeauxGabrielle Games became consuming, leading to neglect of responsibilities and contributing to a parent/child dynamic between adults who are supposed to be partners. They were not supporting growth, social connection, or creativity like other hobbies do. Will never date another game guy.
