“Where Water Flows, Equality Grows.” Water is life — and a fundamental human right. Guaranteeing equal access to water empowers women and girls, strengthens communities, and advances equality. Justice is achieved when safe water and sanitation are upheld as rights, transforming lives through equality, empowerment, and solidarity. We recognize #Indigenouswomen through their leadership in water management systems, ensuring that where equality flows, no one is left behind. This #WorldWaterDay2026, we call to: End inequalities. Empower women. Secure rights for all. Demand accountability in water governance. #WorldWaterDay2026 #WaterJustice #WeAreIndigenous #IndigenousPeoplesRights #WaterandGenderEquality #LeaveNoOneBehind #ActForJustice

"End Racism. Honor Indigenous Peoples' Rights. Protect Human Dignity." For 60 years, the world has stood against racial discrimination. Today, we reaffirm that Indigenous Peoples’ voices, lands, and cultures must be respected and protected. Racial justice is inseparable from Indigenous Peoples’ rights — it is about dignity, equality, and solidarity for all. We stand as #IndigenousPeoples, carrying forward actions that uphold our collective rights, dignity, and strength. This day, we call to: Act for justice. Stand against racism. Build inclusive societies. #WeAreIndigenous #FightRacism #IndigenousRights #EndDiscrimination #HumanDignity #JusticeForAll

"Indigenous Peoples – Guardians of the Forests" 🌱 Recognizing #IndigenousPeoples’ knowledge, systems, and practices (IKSPs) is a strategic action for biodiversity and climate resilience. Indigenous Peoples have long been the frontline guardians of forests—protecting biodiversity, sustaining livelihoods, and preserving cultural heritage. Their stewardship ensures forests remain resilient against climate change and exploitation. Recognizing Indigenous women’s leadership is vital when their voices guide forest governance, economies grow, ecosystems thrive, and communities flourish. This #IntlForestDay, we call to: Protect forests. Invest in forest protection. Recognize Indigenous-led practices for forest stewardship. #ForestDay #WeAreIndigenous #GenerationRestoration #Indigenousknowledge

The Global Study on Indigenous Peoples’ Contributions to Climate Change is a landmark effort that captures, for the first time, the scale and depth of Indigenous Peoples’ actions, innovations, and knowledge in responding to the global climate crisis. We are honored to have accompanied this process, one that has been grounded in Indigenous Peoples leadership from inception to completion. This study is not merely a research output; it is a collective reflection of Indigenous Peoples collective wisdom, resilience, and the unbroken relationship they practice with the natural world and the associated struggle to access climate finance. Across continents and ecosystems, Indigenous Peoples are protecting forests, rangelands, wetlands, and oceans that sustain life on Earth. This Global Data Study on Indigenous Peoples’ Climate Contributions, which was launched in the UNFCCC COP 30 in Brazil, was successfully completed with the invaluable support of the Climate High-Level Champions for COP 28 and The Mohammed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund; in partnership with the ELATIA Consortium (Indigenous Peoples' Global Partnership on Climate Change, Forests and Sustainable Development). This was coordinated by the Indigenous Livelihoods Enhancement Partners (ILEPA) and Tebtebba Foundation with global and IP regional consultants/authors, and the IP Advisory Committee. Facilitated by Tebtebba with support from @SwedBio, the Likoy Tribe and the Inapinan Farmers Organization, Inc. have taken a significant step toward agricultural modernization with the acquisition of a newly fabricated sugarcane presser. Although the machine was commissioned in late 2025, fabrication was completed this year, leading to its formal handover on February 6, 2026, in Data, Sabangan. Following the activity, the equipment will be transferred to Likoy for use by farmers to boost local muscovado production, transitioning the community from manual extraction to more efficient, higher-yield processing. The equipment was custom-designed and fabricated by Douglas Engineering and Machine Shop Services. 📷 Photo by @rogerlambino of Tebtebba #WeAreIndigenous
