Design is dead.
If you’re still pushing pixels, you’re already obsolete.
Google AI can now turn ideas into full products instantly.
Here’s how Google Stitch is replacing designers (7 hard truths):🧵

The meta-pattern is interesting.
The most valuable AI datasets are increasingly side-effects of products:
• gameplay → world scans
• social media → language corpora
• self-driving → driving video
The frontier datasets of AI aren’t collected.
They emerge from large-scale human interaction loops.

Training pipeline likely looks roughly like:
1. AR scans → multi-view feature extraction
2. SfM / photogrammetry → sparse & dense reconstructions
3. neural scene representations (e.g. NeRF variants)
4. learned visual embeddings for place recognition
5. global-scale map indexing
Result: image → 6DoF pose.

143M people thought they were catching Pokémon.
But they were actually building largest real-world AI datasets ever (with 30B+ images).
Here’s how Pokémon GO quietly trained robots to navigate the physical world🧵

POKÉMON GO PLAYERS TRAINED 30 BILLION IMAGE AI MAP Niantic says photos and scans collected through Pokémon Go and its AR apps have produced a massive dataset of more than 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation for delivery robots, letting them identify exact locations on city streets without relying on GPS. Source: NewsForce
