The Dallas Stars offseason needs to begin with a very hard discussion with one player.

@DanRussellST Or maybe he just wanted to slow down and enjoy some time with his family. A 82 game schedule can be gruelling for a 70 year old.

Can somebody refresh my memory: Was it ever fully explained why John Garrett didn’t work the last 3 seasons in the Canucks booth? Publicly, it was called retirement. Yet Cheech was still strongly calling games. Was it truly his decision, or a change never fully explained?

Last night, a 22 year old man from Surrey, holding a Class 7 N driver’s licence, decided to visit Abbotsford—and apparently test our roadways like a racetrack. He was observed travelling 144 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone along Marshall Road near Queen Street. An Abbotsford Police patrol officer spotted the excessive speed and conducted a traffic stop, quickly bringing the unofficial race to an end. The driver was issued an excessive speeding ticket, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He also had to make alternative plans for getting back to Surrey. So far this year, AbbyPD officers have removed 87 excessive speeders from Abbotsford roadways. Please slow down and help keep everyone safe. #RoadSafetyMatters

Leafs Michael Pezzetta just went absolutely ballistic on his shift - then got into a full-on shouting match with the linesman & was then tossed from the game. Unreal. There's no telling what happens next. Ref show. #LeafsForever

Adam Foote scratching Hoglander for 34-year-old Evander Kane is TERRIBLE. Kane is a pending UFA who won’t even be here in 4 months. Why are we prioritizing a guy on his way out over a 25-year-old who actually needs the reps?

A year ago, Kentucky bourbon was pulled from Canadian shelves as a direct result of a reckless trade war. Since then, spirits exports to one of our biggest markets have plummeted by 63%. For Kentucky, this isn't just about a bottle on a shelf. It’s about the workers at Brown-Forman, our local suppliers, and the families whose livelihoods depend on this industry. Even after the courts stepped in, the damage was done. Our bourbon is still locked out, and Kentucky workers are the ones paying the price. courier-journal.com/story/life/foo…
