@codyjacksonAR 6 can chili. 3 cans beans of choice, undrained. 1 can Mexican seasoned diced or stewed tomatoes. 1 can refried beans. 1 can chicken or vegetable broth (can make a cup of bouillon if you prefer). Dump and mix in crockpot, add chili powder/spices/garlic etc to taste.

@o0DrIntrovert0o I have my students write a community agreement collaboratively on the first day of class to get their buy in on appropriate classroom behavior. Side talk has been minimal during lectures so far, but I'm still pretty new to this.

@digiwonk I had shingles at the age of 36 in my groin area. I guess new moms get it sometimes due to stress. It was horrible, and I didn't catch it in time for antivirals to help. Anyway, owwww.

Get vaccinated, kids. I am a healthy 46 yo woman who had chickenpox as a child and now has shingles from the dormant virus flaring up 30 years later. Bumpy, oozy, red, painful, burning welts and blisters all up my neck and face. For a month. GET YOUR VACCINES.

A friend of mine (French and gender studies prof) wants to learn a programming language to add something practical to her skillset. She mentioned maybe using it to help her create some sort of educational tool, but she doesn't know what yet. Any suggestions? Is that too vague?
