@AkbarSAhmed The language you are using in this thread indicates advocacy of a position based on opinion, not reporting on a story based on facts. Assuming you are the reporter you say you are, you can do better in service of what I presume you believe is an important piece of reporting.

@LuxAlptraum It's hard to discount the role his brother's life and death play in the complicated parts of Bibi's personality. I'm not defending him - I think Bibi has sullied what was a sacred name in Israel. But Yoni has to be a weighty ghost in that dynamic.

I enjoy reading and listening to @liel's work at @tabletmag but often find myself disagreeing with his conclusions - he's far to the right of me. The last several weeks show that he was right & I was wrong about many things, particularly the liberal academy's antisemitic fuckery.
