@DocJoby @BrickCenter_ Regardless of when he catches the ball, as he's stopping, his left (pivot) foot slides and then comes off the floor as he plants the right. That's also a violation.

@BrickCenter_ I may even change my count to three more than a day later rewatching it based on when he actually catches the ball and his last “step” actually being part of a pivot.

There's no such thing as traveling in the NBA anymore. Jalen Green took SIX steps in a 1-point game with 25 seconds left... no call 😭

@CFBGuy999 He's got 1st round talent, but the league tends to devalue RBs relative to other positions, so he'll probably drop to 2nd rd. (By 1st rd talent, I mean I don't think there are 32 other players in this draft who will have a greater impact on an NFL team than JP.)

@thebookviking @StevenTDennis This ☝️☝️. People constantly are looking for conspiracies and ulterior motives. The pretty clear explanation is that he had a stroke, which by definition causes damage to the brain. It isn't uncommon for it to cause personality changes, impulsively, moodiness and other shifts.

@StevenTDennis The thing about Fetterman is he’s had a stroke and his brain is mush ever since and he’s acting reactionary….just like people who have strokes sometimes do

The thing about Fetterman’s vote for Mullin that is interesting to me is that he didn’t seem to leverage his rare moment of immense power - he had effectively a veto in committee - to get something in return. The Senate is usually all about leverage.

@JackBDann @wetjimbo Most NBA rookies aren't great defenders. Majority are pretty poor, actually bc offense is mostly what distinguishes you in HS/NCAA. I'm bullish on Max bc of how quick he learns. A much dif player than even 3 mos ago. Give him an offseason to learn/bulk up. Then we'll really see.

@wetjimbo I think he’s doing some elite stuff in a horrendous team context, the defense is a question mark but if he’s passable there, there’s a lot to like

Maxime Raynaud is a small defensive leap away from being in All-Star conversations at some point. His combination of touch/length is next level, he’s tough to stop for even the best defenders. If he can defend enough to play 25-30 minutes a night, he’ll sleepwalk to 16/10.

@krishcoughran Not disputing your overall point. Also, calling the Spurs "a good team trying to win" is a little like saying Steph Curry is a "pretty good shooter." actually the Spurs are a legit title contender. In fact, I'd argue, probably the favorite.

I'm not trying to troll here, but please use your common sense here people. We are finally playing a good team trying to win and we are being exposed for exactly what we are and our prior wins against tanking teams didn't mean anything. We aren't learning how to win or any of that nonsense. We were simply playing very bad teams who understand better than we do that losing is better than winning at this time of year when you are a bad team.

#BREAKING: Senior White House staff are saying Trump is regretting the decision to strike Iran, having assumed being a wartime president would result in the same 80%+ approval ratings GWB received. Sending our troops to die for poll numbers. Unbelievable.

@JDCocchiarella Exactly. Most Presidents don't just talk "off the cuff" bc they understand that their words matter so are careful what they say. Trump doesn't give a crap - it's all about him - so he'll say anything - and then contradict himself 5 min later. But it's grist for their stories.🙄

@semafor THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! NONE OF THIS IS FUCKING NORMAL!!!! I know this doesn't seem to be anywhere near the top of anybody's priority list, but doesn't a bunch of random journalist having the president's personal cell seem like a bit of a security risk? 🙄🙄🙄

@NiallStanage THE MAN IS NOT WELL!!!!! This is obvious for all the world to see, yet instead of stepping in, those in power who could do something about it (GOP) are standing around awkwardly while he runs around starting wars w/ NO plan for success and crashing the global economy.

Startling moment even by Trump’s standards, egging Speaker Mike Johnson on to talk about GOP Rep. Neal Dunn’s health diagnosis. Johnson hedges a bit and Trump interjects that Dunn was told he’d be dead by June. Johnson: Ok, that wasn’t public.

@CarmichaelDave With the Pistons he averaged about 5 assists/ game in about 25 min, which is actually quite good. Pretty sure that's what the Kings see and are trying to develop.

@CarmichaelDave Shooting struggles are why he didn't stick in the league before. He's actually a very good distributor w/ good size and excellent court vision. Its a low risk investment. Its easier to improve a guy's shooting technique than to teach him to,see the court and make good decisions.

I’m really wrestling with the Killian Hayes signing. On one hand, it’s only 3 mil next year, he’s 24 and in his 7th season, and a former 7th overall pick. On the other hand, he absolutely CANNOT shoot, and I need to understand why he deserves minutes over Devin Carter.

@EricSperlazza13 They are already out of the bottom 3, with 2 games to go vs Brooklyn. They could literally drop to the 5th worst record.

Can’t blame the payers for winning a game, but the Kings really have to make sure they don’t slip out of the bottom 3 Having the chance to pick 7th already is pretty not great

History doesn't repeat. But it rhymes. 1971: Nixon ends dollar-gold convertibility. The world panics. "The dollar is finished." But a new system emerges. The petrodollar. And dollar dominance INCREASES. 2026: Iran ends dollar-Hormuz exclusivity. Could America engineer a new system again? Maybe. But in 1971, America had Kissinger. Today, it has bombs and sanctions. That's a very different toolkit.

🚨 BREAKING: Iran didn't respond to US bombs with missiles. They responded with GAME THEORY. And in doing so, they may have just fired the most dangerous shot at the US dollar in 52 years. Here's the move most people completely missed: 🧵 (Read this slowly. Share it widely.)

@o_a_khan I dont think he's a bad coach. He's an inexperienced coach who was dealt an impossible hand, between injuries and a fucked up roster. But unlike some of the vets, the young guys have been listening to the coach, and it's taken some time but you can see the potential.

At this point I’ve resigned myself to letting the Lottery Gods take control. Hopefully the universe rewards the ethics. The top 3 players in the league are two guys outside the top 10, and one picked during a Taco Bell commercial in the 2nd round. Having the worst record gives you a 15% chance at the top pick, and having the top pick is no guarantee you got the best player. Yes I’m aware the lower you go the lower you drop your draft floor. Yes I’m aware I’m at the table right now with a heaping pile of Copium Flakes. But what else can you do? Let the universe decide, because at some point we gotta be due for something good, don’t we? I’ll just trust that whatever happens, is exactly what’s supposed to happen. A great philosopher once said, “Some of God’s greatest gifts, are Unanswered Prayers.” So…..yeah.

I wish everyone would stop blaming Pres Trump and Gen. Pete Hegseth for the insanely high fuel prices that will ruin the world economy. There was simply no way to predict the Iranian regime would block the Strait of Hormuz after we started bombing them🙏🇺🇸
