My little sister asked for my email address.
I told her it’s just my first name and last name at Gmail.
She looked at me like I had casually announced that I own beachfront property in Malibu.
She said, “How did you get that? I could never get mine.”
I said, “Because I was there when Gmail was invented.”
And that is apparently how I found out my email address is now considered historical evidence.
Back then, you could just type your actual name and somehow it was still available.
No extra numbers.
No random underscores.
No adding “official” at the end because twelve other people had already claimed it.
Just your name and Gmail.
Simple times.

I feel lost. Like I'm just floating in space.
I don't know if I'm burning out. I don't think I'm burning out, actually. I just feel lost.
I've been unemployed for almost two months now, and I don't know if I should get a new job. I think I've applied to only 2 jobs since then. I'm not applying because I'm not sure what's next for me.
Should I get another job?
Should I build a startup around one of my projects?
Should I try to raise money?
Can I even raise money?
Should I start an open-source software studio and run my projects under one umbrella?
Should I focus on freelancing?
Should I start a software consulting company?
Should I start selling courses?
Should I build a consumer product startup?
Lots of options, but I don't really know where my head is at, and I'm running out of money.
What is my purpose? 😔

Sanwo Olu built train in Lagos, he’s not the “best governor”. People still call him out every day.
Dapo Abiodun built an airport lately, he’s not the best governor. He gets called out every day even by people that have never been to Ogun State.
Alex Otti built shopping complex, but he’s the “best governor”. And, he’s is allergic to being called out because Sowore is not from Abia State.

You guys really need to work on your financial literacy it’s affecting you all.
36m at once, let’s say you don’t have a car before, get a clean Honda evil spirit, 5m, you use an extra 1m to run new Tyre, service it and clean up to your taste. (Many would want to buy a car of 18m to prove what is not to friends)
You are left with 30m, bring 10m and place in MMF at 16-20% per annum, you are left with 20m.
Bring 10m and buy stocks of 5-10 good companies, and watch it compound for you.
You are left with 10m, put 2m in your emergency fund, some give as high as 15% per annum.
You are left with 8m, buy some clothes (don’t do branded) upgrade your wardrobe sensibly, you can get an apartment and furnish reasonably, you don’t need to live like a king.
Next go and find a job, with a decent pay 👍👍👍.

The reason why things like this are shocking to see is because there is this hush around nakedness. We should all talk more about our bodies. If she didn’t “expose” her baby bump, most people won’t realize that this is a common occurrence for the navel during pregnancy. Same goes with periods, hormonal imbalance, breasts and basically everything they want us not to talk about.

90 -100million? That’s too much abeg, I can’t relate. When I traveled to Nigeria, the only major expense was my flight ticket ($3,900) and a few outings here and there. If you own your home and car and you’re not overspending or doing too much like an IJGB, there’s really no reason you’d be spending that much on just few weeks igbadun.

Air peace is not a publicly traded company so they would inflate prices and lie on taxation.
For publicly traded companies you can see how much exactly they pay in taxes and if it has actually increased or not.
Most of these companies would reduced because CIT has dropped from 30% to 25%
